Alice Manzi's comprehensive education, technical expertise, and varied experience have led to a comprehensive portfolio of large figurative sculptures. Alice began sculpting religious themes at a young age and studied sculpture in High School with Ron Mehlman.

Ms. Manzi's Bachelor's Degree from Brooklyn College included work in marble carving with Pratt Institute in Pietrasanta, Italy, and she served as Graduate Assistant in the sculpture studios of New York University, receiving a Master's Degree in sculpture.

Ms. Manzi's apprenticeship was with Fr. Thomas McGlynn, O.P., the sculptor of the statue of Our Lady at Fatima and other pieces of sacred art around the world. Alice has exhibited in regional, national and international shows, and her works are housed in the permanent collections of museums as well as in numerous private collections.

Ms. Manzi has taught sculpture, anatomy, and related subjects since 1977, and is currently an Adjunct Faculty member of Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York.

Her strengths include mastery of the human anatomy and an innate ability to evoke personality in a figure.
